Zen in a Bottle: DIY Castile Soap Bath Bombs

Have you embraced the bath bomb trend? It’s time, and you’ll be so happy you did. Combine Castile soap, baking soda, citric acid, and essential oils for a spa-like experience in the comfort of your home. Mold the mixture into various shapes and let them dry. When it's time for a relaxing soak, drop a bath bomb into warm water and watch as it fizzes and releases heavenly scents, leaving your skin feeling nourished and refreshed.

Sudsy Science: Homemade Castile Soap Volcano

When I was a kid, we used vinegar and baking soda to create a volcano for my yearly science fair project. This year, I’ve figured out to combine the excitement of a volcanic eruption with the cleaning power of Castile. This activity is going to take some prep, if you want to build a volcano structure using paper mâché. For a more immediate reaction, use a 2L bottle. Start by mixing baking soda (about 2 tsp) and Castile Soap (3 tbls) inside the volcano, then pour in vinegar. Watch as the chemical reaction creates an eruption of sudsy foam, capturing the awe and wonder of nature's forces.

Get your Kids on board for cleaning!

Extra home time, means extra mess time, but we feel that keeping our home tidy must be a team effort. Each of our offspring has their own spray bottle – decked out with personalized stickers. We make our classic all-purpose spray, to create a safe and harsh chemical-free cleaning solution.
